1. Enter comma-separated cylinder numbers (0 - 49) as values representing disk requests in the input field.
2. Enter the head position.
3. Enter the direction in which you want to move the arm.
4. Click on the SUBMIT button.
   • Observe as the disk arm moves to the requested locations.
5. Calculate the Average Seek Time by entering the values for Total Seek Time and Total Seek Operations, then click on the SUBMIT button.
   Formula:-
   Average Seek Time  =   $\frac{\mathrm{Total\; Seek\; Time}}{\mathrm{Total\; Seek\; Operations}}$
   
   Total Seek Time  =   (Seek Rate) * (Total Head Movement)
   
   

   NOTE 1: Assume Seek Rate to be 1s.

   Seek Operation = movement of the disk's read/write head to the specific cylinder.
